Road
Woodcock Cycle Club Road Rides, 2009, All are welcome. Check back often for ride updates and cancellations.
When: Friday evenings at 6 pm (weather permitting) from the shop at 433 St Mary's Road, arrive early and mingle.
We have added a Sunday Ride. Make sure you are on the email list for this ride, as the meeting location and ride destination are fluid. Email your info to currie@woodcockcycle.com with subject line “WCW Club Ride”

Our Club ride will be geared to the least experienced rider and we will gradually increase our time in the saddle, distance and speed.
We also use these rides to gear-up for the MS Ride to Gimli in August. We are always looking for more team members to join us on the ride so log on join our MS Team. If you just want to pledge the team or a team member us the same links.
Last year our MS Team split into 3 groups and finished the ride at the front, middle and back of the group respectively so we have a speed for everyone. Give us a call for more information
Because of the liabilities involved with putting on a club ride the MCA (Manitoba Cycling Association) has generously extended their insurance policy to cover such rides. For the first ride you need only fill out the MCA membership application and waiver but for your second and subsequent rides you must become a fully paid member ($35/yr) of the Manitoba Cycling Association. This is for a general licence. This way we are all covered. For the year. Visit www.cycling.mb.ca for more information and the licence form.
